Do we need more interaction - to have success, I'm slipping...
Meet at the community center to walk 2-3 times a week?
Meet at the copper kettle for green tea? Light discussion a low cal snack?

I work interaction seems to always help?

Joan,

You are right! Success is facilitated by a sense of 'community'. 'Community' in this competition can be defined as interacting with others in the Toxic Waistline Competition since you all have a shared goal of becoming healthier through these 100 days. If you take the risk of offering support to other people in TWC you create a shared effort leading to the same goal. Each of you may end up at a different end to your journey but you are not traveling alone.

So, why not start a walking or biking group. Bernards Township has some of the most amazing walking paths of anywhere in New Jersey. Check out the parks maps listed under the "Diet and Exercise Tips" section of this website. So get moving, take a risk and join Joan in her quest to find others members who want to meet her to walk and become healthier.
